Took Bob and Joe on a little trolling adventure. The day started a little slow, but we did manage to catch a small sailfish. About mid morning the action heated up and we caught our limit of six kingfish and released a couple in a relatively short period of time. After that, we decided to try trolling some ballyhoo for a mahi or another sail. The sailfish and mahi didn’t cooperate, but we had quite a few mystery bites (probably kingfish, although I know we missed at least one sail, because I saw him try and eat the short bait). We did manage to catch a barracuda, a couple of kings we had to put back and one stud wahoo that tipped the scales at 60#. Funny thing was that Joe fished with me about the same time last year and caught a 40# hoo. What might happen when they come back to fish again?!
