Opening day of grouper season had the seas running 3′-5′, so it wasn’t a day for the timid. The Kirkland party was up to the task and chomping at the bit to get some grouper. Managed to capture three gags, including a 40.6 lber to take the lead in the Johnny Longfish Year Long Captains…
Great way to end the year! Took Troy Denson and his crew from Mount This on a season ending grouper trip. It turned out to be more of just a killing spree. We ended up catching a limit of 6 gag grouper, 5 amberjack and a scamp grouper.
