The ocean was beautiful today and the fishing was ok. Managed to catch five pretty nice mahi, a triggerfish and a banded rudder fish.
Trip Report 4/23/16. It was another fairly rough ocean, but the mahi cooperated pretty well. Ended up with 11 dolphin and a sailfish release.
Spring has sprung and if you ask me, the cobia are done. Once again, the season started with a glimmer that was abruptly snuffed out. In mid February, there were some rays to be seen with a scattering of cobia. And as quickly as the season was shaping up, the water warmed up seemingly overnight.…
